It's no coincidence that my account is approximately as old as the movie Miss Congeniality.
Been on Newgrounds even before 2001 on a different alias. I will be bringing some of my future film work here.

The Blue Iris Collab Teaser Trailer

Posted by MrCongeniality - December 9th, 2010

I decided to take the time to upload a very short clip of my portion that will be in the Blue Iris collaboration that is expected to be release on Christmas. (FYI, if it turns out it is not going to be released on Christmas, my portion will be put on YouTube ON Christmas.) The teaser is basically just a certain part taken from the beginning of the animation. Nothing really too impressive is in it, because I don't want to shoot my wad early.

Anyways, here it is. I recommend you watch it on YouTube instead of embed on here. That way you can read some of the text in the movie, and not only that, it's available in high definition too. :) (Link)

I've shown a few people the unfinished version of the movie so far (1 minute and 40 seconds long). So far I'm getting a positive response from those who have seen it (one person even called it brilliant which I found flattering, THANK YOU BY THE WAY). however there is a problem. I was hoping that my portion of the collaboration would appeal to all of Newgrounds, but it turns out it might only appeal to the people who are regulars in the Newgrounds Stickam chatroom. Someone presented this idea to me, but of course, we could both be wrong.

I think it's entirely possible that the animation in it's now current and final form won't need a complex understanding like being a regular in the NG Stickam room for the past year or so. In my opinion, the idea and where the animation goes is pretty simple. I can only hope that it comes off that way.
